Dr. Prince Sodoke Amuzu is a Ghanaian Medical Laboratory Scientist and a Fellow of the West African Postgraduate College of Medical Laboratory Sciences (WAPCMLS), a business consultant and politician.

As a laboratory scientist, he was the President, Ghana Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists; Chairman of the Council of Allied Health Presidents; member Allied Health Professions Council and member of Rutland Institute for Ethics, Clemson University- USA. As a politician, he was the District Chief Executive for the Akatsi North District Assembly from May 2017 to November 2021; member of the Governing Board of the Allied Health Professions Council of the Ministry of Health in Ghana and member of the Ho Teaching Hospital Governing board. He has served on several other committees at the academic and professional level.

He holds Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science certificate from the UDS and also had his bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science from KNUST. His additional qualification includes; an Executive Certificate in Good Corporate Governance from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and Master degree in Business Administration from the Central University.

He is great example of someone who does not give excuses when it comes to promoting matters of the profession. He has been a private practitioner who has maintained his status by paying his annual subscription (dues) directly to GAMLS without waiting for a process of direct deductions Such people respect what it means to be in good standing constitutionally as a professional.
